Our story
Sweet Cheeks grew out of our family’s active, outdoor lifestyle. We needed natural products that could keep up with all of us. We also saw a need for petroleum free balms for athletes.
I trained with an herbalist in Colorado, learning to make skin balms. That led to the first batch of Butt Butter—a beeswax-based chamois cream for my husband and our riding mates.
From there, we began selling in local bike shops, and now we’re proud to be stocked across New Zealand and Australia.
Today, every tin of Butt Butter, Super Balm, Hot Cheeks, Anti-Chafe Balm, and Lip Balm is still handmade in Wānaka by us.
We keep it simple: Locally produced beeswax, organic herbs and essential oils and no fillers. Because when you’re out on the trails, the last thing you need is chafing slowing you down.
